Easy to Learn Demi Plie
Demi Plié [duh-MEE ple-AY] half bent, A half bending of the knee or knees. In demi plié the legs are turned out from the hips, the knees open, over the toes, the body weight is evenly distributed on the both feet, back is straight and shoulders are square. The bending movement is gradual, the body rises at the same speed at which it descended. Demi Plié performed without lifting the heels off the floor.
